Kiwi Math is built and operated by Lahman Holdings ("we," "us"). This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it.

The short version

Who creates an account

Only a parent or guardian (an adult) creates a Kiwi Math account, with their own email and password. A child never creates an account, never provides an email address, and never logs in directly - they're selected from a simple list inside the parent's already-logged-in session.

What we collect

Automated practice adjustment

Kiwi Math adjusts question difficulty using an automated, rule-based algorithm: a few correct answers in a row make it a little harder, a couple of misses make it a little easier. This is not a generative AI model or chatbot, and it doesn't make any decisions beyond picking the next practice question - it has no access to anything beyond a kid's own practice history, and it never generates free-form content shown to a child.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or rent data to anyone, ever. A short, complete list of who processes data on our behalf, and why:

That's the complete list. We don't use any advertising, analytics, or tracking third parties.

Children's privacy

Kiwi Math is a practice tool for elementary-age kids, used under a parent's account and supervision. We collect only what's described above about a child (first name, grade/level settings, practice activity) - nothing is collected directly from a child, there are no ads shown to children, and we don't use a child's data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the practice app itself.

A parent can review or delete their child's data at any time from the Account page, or delete their entire account and all associated data from the same page (see "Your choices" below).

Your choices

Data retention and security

We keep data for as long as your account is active, plus a short period after deletion for backups to fully clear. Passwords are stored as salted, iterated cryptographic hashes, never in plain text. Data is stored in Cloudflare's database and session infrastructure.
